We are busy working on Deventer station. This beautiful 1920’s railroad station is being permanently refurbished by our painters with great passion and skill. In the coming months, about 14000m2 of steel and wood will be painted. In addition to the painting work, 465m1 of cast iron windows will be produced and about 4200 panes replaced. The existing cast iron windows were removed from view years ago and replaced with corrugated iron sheets. We will now remove these corrugated sheets after which the new cast iron windows will be installed. This will make the historic character even more visible. Like all stations we have previously completed, the work will be carried out as invisibly as possible so that trains and passengers can continue to use the station without problems.Completion of the work is scheduled for May 2021.
