Complete 75-meter-long bridge with over 2,200 m2 of riveted steel was completely Sa2½ blasted and coated with a 2-layer epoxy system from International Paint and a polyurethane top coat. During the work, the bridge was shrink-wrapped in stages. With a 15,000 m3 extractor, we ensure that no dust and paint mist immission occurs outside the work area. The bridge is an important supply and disposal route for Tatasteel. A tight logistical plan to carry out part of the work during a train-free period worked perfectly.
