Botlek Tank Terminal (BTT), part of HES International BV has awarded van der Ende Steelprotectors the contract to paint eight newly built tanks. Starting at the end of March 2018, van der Ende will blast as much as 35,000 m2 of Torb blast and apply a 4 layer paint system. The project has a tight deadline and must be completed within 5 months. Partly for this reason, several tanks are being worked on simultaneously. In addition to the price aspect, the organizational capacity as well as the deployment of sufficient manpower and equipment were important reasons for choosing van der Ende.
