[column]Van der Ende received the order from the Province of Zeeland to conserve the floodgate bridge. The bridge, which in its vertical position is more than 35 meters high, was completely wrapped by the scaffolder in order to protect the surroundings from released blasting dust. An imposing structure, which is being worked on with great dedication. [/column]
[column]The entire bridge will be completely blast cleaned (Sa2½) in two phases and given a 3-layer epoxy system with a polyurethane finish coat. The second phase of implementation will not take place until March 2015. Due to the necessary obstructions, it is not possible to carry out the maintenance of the bridge in one phase. [/column]
[column]This is the second project that has been won in a short period of time based on EMVI (Most Economically Advantageous Tender) criteria. The main award factors were Quality Management and planning.
