Another bridge delivered! Last week Van der Ende successfully delivered the maintenance of the preservation of the Papendrecht bridge. Commissioned by Technobeton BV, Van der Ende has worked for the past 5 months to repair the preservation system. The main girders of the fixed bridge, a large part of the supporting structure of the trap and the pivot points in the bascule basement were stripped of corrosion and then provided with a new preservation. This allows the preservation system to last until the major maintenance scheduled for 2030!
