Wheel graver “Kombi 5,” a machine with an area of about 10,000 m2 was blasted 50 percent to a cleanliness level of Sa 2.5 in 8 weeks. Intact lowering was not completely removed, but roughened by light blasting. The entire machine was then given a three-layer paint system, consisting of two epoxy layers and a top coat of polysiloxane enamel.
Specialized teams worked in shift (including weekends) on this project. Through our plan of action, we met the ambitious schedule comfortably and without safety incidents.
Having performed Kombi 6 earlier this year, the client is once again very satisfied with the work performed.
