At the end of the 2003 three-year contract, Van der Ende B.V. signed a new contract with Gasunie in late 2005. This time it was a five-year contract for the maintenance of the various gas stations in the Western Netherlands.
It involves maintenance on about 50% of the facilities included in the national maintenance contract. About 25,000 man-hours per year are involved. Often these are relatively small sites. [/column][column]Therefore, logistics in particular is an important aspect of the contract. Treatments at the various sites must be well coordinated to make the movement of people and equipment as efficient as possible.
