In 2002, Van der Ende executed a one-year contract with Gastransport Services B.V. Several gas stations were conserved in the south of the Netherlands.
In 2003, Van der Ende entered into a three-year contract, adding an additional region to its scope.
For the next three years, Van der Ende performed gas station maintenance in the South and West regions. Usually these were relatively small locations. Therefore, logistics in particular was an important aspect of this contract. Operations at the various locations had to be well coordinated in order to make the movement of people and equipment as efficient as possible.
