On Jan. 12, 2012, Van der Ende held a large New Year’s Meeting at the monumental ss Rotterdam. Over 200 guests from the process industry and infra had traveled to Rotterdam for this event. After a reception in the Grand Ballroom where guests could strengthen ties with familiar business contacts and meet new ones, the whole party went to the La Fontaine room for an inspiring speech by Prof. Dr. Willem Vermeend. After this interlude, the traditional Captains dinner was already waiting in the Grand Ballroom.
We can look back on a very successful evening.
Although this was the first time we organized such an event, the turnout was great. Several new connections were made among the guests during the evening, thus combining the useful with the pleasant.
