[column]The OSK Conserveringsgroep from Barendrecht recently received a mega order of over 45 million euros to perform major and minor maintenance and conservation work on the Oosterscheldekering. This order is the largest blasting and conservation project ever issued in the Netherlands. [/column]
[column]OSK Conserveringsgroep is a partnership between Van der Ende Infra Structure BV and Gelders Staalstraal- en Schildersbedrijf BV Both family-owned companies have a long history and a lot of experience with large conservation projects. OSK Conserveringsgroep will be repainting 32 of the colossal storm surge gates over the next nine years on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat. The entire complex of 64 floodgates, including the motion mechanisms, will then remain under OSK Conservation Group’s maintenance until 2035. [/column]
[column]For Van der Ende, this order combined with the order from Rijkswaterstaat to conserve two bridges in Limburg means a spectacular increase in activities within the Infra sector. This development fits perfectly into the growth ambition Van der Ende has set for the Infra market. [/column]
