[column]In early July, DNV Certification conducted a (re)certification audit at Van der Ende for ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004 and VCA-Petrochemistry 2008/5.1. After a very successful audit, KAM manager Richard Dräer was able to receive the new certificates on July 22. [/column]

Van der Ende has set itself the goal of being a leading company when it comes to working safely. Certification according to the new and tougher VCA-Petrochemistry 2008/5.1 was therefore a logical next step for our safety management system. Van der Ende is the first Dutch painting company to be certified according to the latest VCA-Petrochemistry 2008/5.1 standard. [/column]
[column]ISO 14001 – Environmental Certification
Care for the environment has always been an integral part of our HSE management system; however, this had not yet been converted into certification according to the ISO 14001 standard. At a time when care for the environment is becoming an increasingly important issue, we have chosen to have this aspect of our HSE management system certified as well. The obtained ISO 14001:2004 certification makes it even more demonstrable that Van der Ende considers care for the environment of paramount importance. [/column]
