Work has started on the railroad bridge at Oosterbeek. Every effort is being made to utilize the first major out-of-service period of 52 hours during the weekend of April 16 and 17. During that weekend, crucial work will be done on the arch of the bridge.
This work is possible only when there is no train traffic.
The 1st abutment is currently fully equipped with scaffolding, floor and wall protection. Internally, it looks like a veritable ballroom where the painters will begin their work starting next week.
The goal is to deliver Aanbrug North and the entire Arch at least this year.
