For Oiltanking, we preserved ten tanks internally and externally in 2013.
The tanks are constructed as cupping tanks, or ring jacket tanks, to optimally protect the surroundings in the event of a leak. This construction is not widely used in the Netherlands and for this purpose we have developed a special accessibility device for safe and efficient execution.

Our philosophy is that a project can only be successful if all disciplines are enabled to work safely and with quality awareness. Therefore, a lot of attention was paid to mutual coordination between the various contractors with respect for each other’s work. The starting point was: a deal is a deal. This resulted in a pleasant atmosphere where problems were seen as challenges in a good understanding.
Cooperation also went well with the foreign fellow companies, for example the tank builder and piping company. Communication was excellent.
