Technique ultra high pressure water jetting

Ultra High Pressure Waterjetting (UHP) is also known as hydrojetting. UHP is a powerful cleaning technique that uses water under extremely high pressure (up to 3,000 bar) to remove old coatings and contaminants deep into the underlying surface. This technique is often used on large marine, industrial and infrastructure objects, such as ships and storage tanks.

No surface damage

Hydrojetting is ideal for preparing large surfaces once previously blasted for new coatings or for thoroughly cleaning steel. When UHP is applied, the surface itself is not damaged.

Better for the environment

One of the major advantages of UHP water blasting is its relative environmental friendliness. No chemical solvents or abrasive materials are used, so no harmful dust or waste is released other than the material being removed from the surface.

Applications in different industries

UHP water jetting is widely used in industry, infrastructure and shipping. Some common applications include:

  • Removal of coatings and paint on steel structures.
  • Cleaning of heat exchangers and pipes in the petrochemical and energy industries.
  • Removal of rubber and bitumen residues from runways and roads.
  • Tank cleaning.

With its high efficiency and durability, Ultra High Pressure Waterjetting is an ideal choice for demanding cleaning tasks.

Advantages Ultra High Pressure Waterjetting

1

No damage

UHP is effective in removing coatings without damaging the underlying steel or concrete.
2

Preventing dust formation

No blasting media such as sand or grit required, preventing dust formation.
3

Environmentally friendly

No spread of harmful substances by applying robots with direct source extraction and a water filtration system.
4

Various application areas

Suitable for complex and large structures.
