Large-scale maintenance Gasunie LNG plant Maasvlakte

Van der Ende is currently working hard on a variety of elements of the LNG plant on the Maasvlakte harbour and industrial area.

The plant, which includes a storage tank for Liquefied Natural Gas measuring in excess of 50 metres high, will shortly have to be supplied with a new preservation system.

With over 40 sandblasters and structure painters, the team are working 6 days a week to complete this huge preservation programme by the deadline of 6 July.

Van der Ende has had a major maintenance contract with Gasunie for 12 years now.

This assignment ranks as one of the largest we have been given by Gasunie since the contract was awarded.
