Aircraft Fuel Supply Tanks preserved again

Aircraft Fuel Supply B.V. is the company at Schiphol Airport that takes care of the receipt, storage and distribution of aviation fuel on behalf of its shareholders.

The kerosene (Jet A1) comes into this fuel depot via a pipeline from the ports of Rotterdam and Amsterdam to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.

The kerosene is transported from this fuel depot to the aircraft via a system of underground hydrants or by means of tankers.

Van der Ende became involved in the integral preservation maintenance of the terminal in 1995. The terminal is inspected annually, including the condition of the paint systems.

On the basis of this inspection, a systematic maintenance schedule is drawn up.

This year, Van der Ende has fully equipped the 201 to 203 tank series with a new preservative system.
