Botlek Tank Terminal (BTT), part of HES International BV, has awarded Van der Ende Steelprotectors the contract for painting eight newly constructed tanks. Starting at the end of March 2018, Van der Ende will Torbo-blast a surface area of no less than 35,000m² and apply a 4-layer paint system. The project has a tight deadline and must be completed within 5 months. Partly for this reason, several tanks are being worked on simultaneously. In addition to the price aspect, the organisational capacity, as well as the deployment of sufficient manpower and equipment, were important reasons to opt for van der Ende.
