Overhead line supporting structures for ProRail

From 1992 to 2003, we have carried out this work exclusively for ProRail throughout the Netherlands. Changed regulations mean that these projects are now also awarded after tendering.

In 2007, we still have the largest market share in the Netherlands.

This is not really surprising, if you think about the requirements imposed on the people and the organisation.

Although safety harnesses have to be used for this work, the people doing it definitely do have to have a head for heights. There are people in our company who have been doing this work for over 20 years.

Workplace safety is paramount and neither expense nor effort can be skimped. There is no train traffic while the painting work is being done and the overhead lines are not live. Because the trains are unable to use the track, painting work almost always has to be done at night.
