Preserving the 150kV substation at PNEM in Helmond-Oost

On behalf of the transport sector of PNEM Network B.V., intensive work has been carried out on the 150 kV station at Helmond-Oost in the last year.

A duplex system was applied to approximately 5,000 m2 of a thermally galvanized construction.

Many safety measures had to be met in order to carry out this work close to a high voltage installation.

All workers of PNEM have to have the following certificates:

Safety certificate VVA part 1

1. Certificate for working safely with high voltage masts
2. Certificate Training for fall protection in high voltage masts.

All of our employees have the Safety Certificate part 1 and 16 employees have parts 2 and 3.
