Three in a row
In recent weeks we successfully completed CS Station Amsterdam, Station Tilburg, we have now also successfully completed Station Zaandam. With more than 9 million Euro in total contract value, our man of steel have demonstrated their craftsmanship and passion at these railway stations. Station Zaandam has undergone a true makeover: 8000 m2 of paintwork where the red color has been replaced by a light gray color. 489 new polycarbonate skylights have also been installed what makes the whole look and feel even fresher in addition to the light color.
The photos clearly show the “before and after” situation.
Annelies Copier – van der Kroon, ProRail Construction Manager: “In the past year, Van der Ende has renovated the largest section of the roof construction at Zaandam Station. The steelwork, the skylights and the roof coverings have been preserved, renewed and replaced. With a railway station in service, an eye for the environment, almost 100 nights without a delay and a scaffolding construction with a continuous floor area of 1300 m2, the project team achieved a great performance. In addition to the high-quality paintwork, Van der Ende distinguishes itself through its enthusiastic project management. “
