For example, in August we used Blastrac’s first 900-mm electric wall-blasting machine for grit blasting BP’s ‘Tank 05’ in the Europoort, Rotterdam. Blastrac is really a great machine. And with a grit blast production that is four times as high, a worthy successor to our older 300 mm machines. It works completely dustless and effortlessly removes the heaviest corrosion and mill scale. The result is a beautiful roughness of the steel that is suitable for the best coatings.
