Commissioned by Gasunie, Van der Ende carried out major maintenance of the conservation and fire proofing on the location LNG Maasvlakte during the turn around in 2012.

With 60 certified blasters, sprayers and painters more than 13000 m2 was blasted and conserved in four months. That included also the roof of the D204 gas reservoir, an impressive structure with its 54 metres height, the Methane island, the Peak shaver, the liquid storage area, pipe streets, construction parts valve locations and fuel streets. We also applied Stopaq/polyester to various risers.
